Default ARP head bold problems

i have a 98 gsr with ARP head studs. I know they have 12 point nuts on the bolts, but i didnt have a 12 point socket set so i tryed my 6. it will not hold on the nut it slips off after i try to take it off. used 14mm, it fits right, just cant hold.

so i go buy a 12 point 14mm, and, it does not fit at all. that does not make any sence. 14mm 6 point fits but 12 doesn't. how is that so. there the same size. so i got a 15mm 12 point and that is too big, go figure.

so what i am asking is does anyone know what size ARP head stud nuts are?

could really use the help. i would call ARP but it was to late to call and it being sunday i cant go buy any other tools at the moment.

I have a 14mm instead. However I just tried it on this Huskey 14mm 6pt and it seems to fit good. I'm gonna see if I can make a trip to sears some time before that 1 nut comes in. lol
