A arm problems should this be cause for concern?

Cick on the link for the pics. I tok my rims off and saw this on my passenger side. can i jsut hammer it back down? what is that piece exactly? what would cause this to happen?

those are your stock cambers....you can just hammer them back down....well if your car is lowered past 1.5 inch i think you should get new ones while your at it..save you some tread life on your tires.
Looks like the shock has more travel than the a arm will allow, it looks like they are bottoming out, but the shock still has travel causing it to push the ball joint out. Add a bump stop and press the ball joint back in.
Also cabmer is not the only cause of tire wear, toe is. Plenty of people here are very low, with no camber kit, but there toe is set back to factory specs.
