Anyone recognize this security system?
Remove it safely and install a new one. That board being exposed is a disaster waiting to happen. Yes, the wires leading into the white connector has battery and ground wires.
Thanks for the reply!
It's not totally exposed, it was hidden behind the trim around the hood release lever. But yeah, I figured as such. It looks terrible.
I would if I knew what brand it is. Actually, I would prefer to just delete it completely, but without knowing what kind of security system it is, I don't know if it's safe to simply unplug the thing.
If it means anything, there doesn't seem to be any other components of it in the car other than a switch that it runs to. If I disconnect and reconnect the battery, the car won't start unless the switch is toggled.
I really appreciate your response. Any info helps.

You just need to disconnect any wires tapping into your factory harness and reconnect and cut wires.
What NV means by 'exposed' is that there usually is a casing covering the circuit board.

I guess they removed it for security reasons, the casing usually gives away what brand the alarm is. If the PO coated the board with nail polish it would help.
