here in the honda world...we don't "flash" ecu's. we chip them.........and also in the honda world...we cannot chip obd2 ecu's. you'll have to convert to obd1 through a jumper harness and run a chipped obd1 ecu if you want to run some kind of program.
unless you get a stand alone EMS system that will be plug and play like AEM's.
there's a few sponsors that sell jumper harnesses and chipped ecu's with basemaps for certain setups.

you will obtain much better tunability with an obd1 ecu than with any obd2 ecu
in the long run the conversion harness and obd1 ecu will make any setup much easier to tune and be more cost effective than trying to work your way through the hassles and spending theextra time messing with an obd2 ecu

exactly what I was going to say. Comptech, buddy club, mugen, and spoon have been the only obd2 ecu's I've seen that have been tuned/chipped

I chipped mine by replacing the 84-pin surface mount Oki processor.

The Oki processor in the OBD2 96-01 Integras cannot be flashed. It is a burn once chip that runs about $150 blank.

When I did it about 5 years ago, the $250 chip with the Spoon program was far cheaper than the OBD1 conversion. The OBD1 ECU would have run about $400-500 at that time and the conversion harnesses were about $200.
I have always wondered about the compatability of the K-series ECUs with the older cars.

I thought the k20 ecu's have immobilizers in them?
Im sure they can be removed, but i know that is the reason you cant BAR a k20 swap in california because you either must modify the ecu which is illegal or use k-pro which is also illegal because it is not the proper ecu for the swap
