antenna problem
Antenna on my car (96 gsr) doesn't want to go down anymore. It makes the noise like it's trying to retract when I shut the car off/turn off the radio, but it seems to be stuck. I'm stupid, so, any ideas?

if it's making the noise, it's not a burnt motor.
lubing your antenna will probably not help it, unless you have gum stuck to it or something.
usually when that happens, your antenna has been bent, or the teeth of the band that brings your antenna mast has been broken.
you can find antenna units really cheap....$15 to $30 for a used one in good working order, just look around the classifieds or at your local junk yard.
They're are also really easy to swap in and out.

time for a new antenna. just do some type of s2k swapp.
mines works good, but i had to do some major customizing to make that **** stick like glue. and removal at the same time.
took a while, but now it fits like stock.
