i definently would not buy from this guy... first of all, he is new to ebay with no comments or anything. Next, he's not accepting money through ebay ie paypal or bill pay.
Cause the bastard replaced the word contact with the code word "contect", which we all know is the universal code word for "theres a scammer up in here"

-seller has 0 feedback, meaning i wouldn't recommend buying from him
-private auction, so you can't contact the bidders and tell them not to bid
-i emailed him asking why he mentioned the engine came with "wastegate actuator" and his reply was it's a special unit on jdm type r engines only that helps to control the vtec water pressure flow. so i emailed him back asking if he could provide some type of assurance that the engines were legit, maybe a phone number i could contact him at, something of that nature. my first question was answered about 6 minutes after i asked it. it's been hours since my last email asking for some type of solid contact info.
bottom line: he's passing off BS answers to things he doesn't know about. at best it's blatant deliberate misrepresentation.
but with all the scamming going on around the ebay arena these days, i wouldn't be surprised to find out this guy has been around for a long time.

I wouldn't buy from him, but all you are doing is assuming things. There is no concrete evidence that this is a scam...not saying it isn't ....but you know what I mean. The zero feedback thing is pretty irrelevant as well, everyone has to start somewhere. I'm sure at one time noone had ever heard of password jdm.
Anyone who cannot write correctly should be considered suspect ALWAYS. I don't mean simple spelling errors, but gross grammar misusage, like "shipping and package will be flat rate 300 USD to all place" and "it's got all the things from the origial engine".
People with no education are the ones who scam others, and key their cars - they don't have the skills to be productive members of society. They are substandard human beings, one of the reasons that make me want to get out of playing with Hondas. I, like many of us here, have the cash to buy what ever the hell kind of vehicle I choose (within reason) but stay with this hobby because it *was* fun. Unfortunately, the miscreants of the world think it's cool - you can thank Vin Diesel for that.
What comes around goes around. This guy will be in jail in a couple years, or when you are I are retired, he'll be chain smoking Marlboro Reds and living in his trailer home with his 5 grandkids, because his own children are ugly and pregnant too.

If you can't see that the auction is questionable you should re-evaluate your ebaying amd online business skills.
Here's what I see:
1. Zero feedback, user history says he registered less than a week ago, yet he is selling several thousand dollars worth of goods.
2. Spelling mistakes in the listing- if you are selling something of this value, there should be no mistakes. "also it got 60 days warranty on all internals" - this should tip you to the type of seller right here. Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that you dont write like that.
3. Listing is of poor quality- for an item at this price there should be several large, clear pictures of the product the seller actually has, not some generic picture.
The listing should be longer and more detailed
4. Seller only accepts payments that are essentially as good as cash. No protection for a buyer. BEWARE! There is no reason a seller can't take paypal.
5. private auction- seems suspicious to me
Taken together, these things suggest that you should not bid.
