i have this slight problem. in my car whenever i slow down to a complete stop there is a slight vibration/shake in the steering wheel. but this never happens when i accelerate, only when i slow down to a complete stop. BTW, i have a 96 LS lowered 2" on GC coils on stock hubbies. also BTW this occured even before i installed the coilovers. please help thanks.
sounds like your brake rotors might be warped (normal wear). your rotors need to be turned or "machined" take em off and bring em down to pep boys.. they will machine em for like 5 bucks each..
well thats wat it sounds like to me too.. warped rotors... but if ur rotors are warped anyway.... y not jus buy a new set of brembo blanks.... i'm pretty happy with mine and i've had them on for oh 3 months ago and i've had no problems with it warpin as of yet.. but yea that is jus a short while.
If you feel the brake pedal pulsating then that sounds like warped rotors. If not, then maybe the rotors are glazed unevenly around. So they're 'slipperier' in some spots. Either way, resurfacing them is OK, but if they're warped badly, then the shop might just give them back saying they can't resurface them. Whenever that happenes to me, they don't charge anything... I just put 'em back on & order a set of new rotors.
