Default another integra question

allright guys i got another one for yall.there is a nasty sound coming from the drivers front only going up hill.when i go down hill it goes away or around a left hand turn going up hill.i noticed the yoke that holds the intermidiate shaft in place bolts were backed out so i tightned them and the sound still persists.i checked tie rods, ball joints, control arms, bushings, etc.everything checks out fine and the guy i got it off of said the axles were new.there is no play in the rim so it couldn't be a wheel bearing or hub assembly.i'm at a loss here so any suggestions or any one of you guys have experienced this your useful info would be appreciated thanks.

Could u Get a sound clip?

It could be something as stupid as a nail or drillbit INSIDE the tire

Check the splash guards #28/29... http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...+BRAKE+%281%29

I assume we are talking about a 92 Civic 4 door, if not what is the MM&Y of the car? 94

It was the 92lx that got me, anyway it still applies... #21 http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
Make sure it is not loose, no missing mounting nuts/bolts/screws, not bent, no stones, or any "debris", jammed between the guard and anything else. 94

If it's high-pitched, it's probably the splash guard as fcm said. The guard bends really easily and can scrape against the rotor. Just use some pliers or whatever and bend it back if it looks like it's rubbing.
