So my rsr exmag is all rusted out. Pretty much beyond repair. The entire exhaust is gone not just the muffler. There are like 3 holes in it. Dammit I loved this exhaust system.

So now what?

I want an exhaust that is quiet like the rsr. I'm thinking about Nopi's brand exhaust which is Number One, a Megan Exhaust or maybe even a type r exhaust if I can find one. I would like to keep the exhaust rather cheap.

What do you guys think?

They have a dc sports on ebay for like 350, no silencer tho. Thinking about that too.

 

apexi ws2. 430 shipped. it'll be around the same price as the dc sports if you include shipping

 

or if you loved the RS*R so much, why not buy another RS*R?

 

damn, why do so many aftermarket exhaust seem to go to crap within a short time? I'm still on my original 15-yr old OEM exhaust with no rusted holes or anything in it.

 

I take it you didn't buy the RSR exhaust?...They aren't that cheap either...I saw that you mentioned greddy evo II was expensive. If you can find RSR for cheaper, i'd go with that again, go with something that you already like rather than testing something new.

 

ITR exhaust is a good one to go with and probably the cheapest...

My funds just got even lower after what just happened.

I jack my car up to check out my exhaust and realize that my exhaust is done. I make this thread so you guys can help me out. I then leave to go play beer pong to relieve some of my anger and then bam ball joint breaks. I wait for like two hours for the freakin tow truck to get there and finally get it to the shop which wasn't open. So now I must wait till tomorrow to see what else is ruined. Dammit.

So I guess I'm going to check out an ITR exhaust if I can find one. Other then that I think whatever is the cheapest brand name exhaust I'll go with, the DC Sports One I mentioned is like 370 shipped. The apexi ws2 is like 460.

I never bought the rsr it was on the car when I got it. I would get another but they seem way expensive.

 

What about an obx exhaust. This thing is way cheap. I noticed they all say 94-01 gsr. I thought 00-01 was different. What do you guys think? Will this thing bolt right up?
