Default ALTEZZA"S!!!!!!!!!!

jk guys. i bet you wanted to lay the flame down huh? no but anyway i have a 94 teg and i want the TL's to be like the 98-01. my questions are is there a pic someone can send to me of what it looks like there? maybe i can drill a hole or get the same socket bulb and wire and somehow "convert" it to a 98-01 taillight.

i just think it was a good mod that acura did in those years and id like to do it myself.

and id like to dump that orange turn signal but that is a different story...unless someones got some tips...i think all this is cheaper than buying 09-01 oem taillights just to get rid of that orange...

current tails...

Why wouldn't you just buy 98-01 tailights?? I'm sure you could find some in the marketplace for cheap.

I don't understand how you plan to 'convert' 94-97 taillights to 98-01 with a drill or bulbs or any kind of wiring. What is there to convert anyway, besides the amber signals which you said "is a different story"? Am I missing something or are you confused?

I think he is confused, it will be like a million times easier to just get 98+ tail lights...

yea but on top of the taillights i need to make the converion in the lights. in the 94-97 tegs the outside edges of the taillights were not lit. they were in the 98-01 models. does anyone know what im talking about?

94-97s do have the side lights in the tails just like the white tegs in the pict. take the interior out behind your tails and replace the bulbs. but yes yours have them.

Yea the taillights are identical except for the fact that 94-97 have amber signals and the outer red edges are darker on 94-97. People paint or put red vinyl over the amber part to make them all red but you'll still be able to see a hint of amber in them and they'll never be as clean and shiny as the real deal, which is what I recommend you do if you want to get rid of the amber. Let me see if I can find this one picture where it shows the taillight differences.

Just keep it stock. That color only came on 94' integras. IMO, keep it the way it is. It's just more origional.
