Default ALPINE SCREEN

has anybody installed an alpine indash screen in a teg, just wondering if there will be enough clearence from the a/c controls

I was thinking about putting an Alpine IVAD900 in my teg, but it looks like its gonna cover the A/C stuff. Then i found out that you can slide the screen out a little farther and maybe it wont be so bad.

I used to have an IVA-C800, when the monitor flips up the only thing that it covers is the fan and temp control. It didnt bother me too much.

I have one in my Teg. It wouldn't fit very well under the climate controls so I put it where the center vents are. Took some time and skill, but the end result was great, and you can't even tell it's not stock when the screen is closed. Wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking for it. So if you have the skill and don't mind losing your center vents I would say go for it.

my friend did the same and made a custom mold to fit his alpine in the center vents
