Airbag question
My airbags popped out wheel and passenger what would i need to replace and if i replaced them would they pop out again if lets say i get into an accident? somone told me u should just put it back in for the look but it wont come out again
To replace the driverside airbag,
1. Disconnect the neg. battery cable.
2. There are 2 torx screws holding it in. Remove these.
3. Slide the airbag out.
4. Disconnect the yellow clip thingie.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Remeber to carry a live airbag with the front facing away from you. Also tape the neg. battery terminal up so it doesn't accidentaly deploy. I seriously doubt you could tackle a passenger airbag ( requires dash removal). Air bag block-off trays are available from password jdm and ebay has them too.

actually ur dash does not have to come out
u must take the glove box off and theres about 7 little nuts that hold it on....takes abour 5 mins to take it out.

thats really wierd ....i would think its alot easier to take the bag out from under the glove box....maybe the dealer just wanted to make it seem like it took a long time and make u spend the extra cash???

Not really. I went to school with the parts dept. manager and he only charged me $300 for the whole job, usually it would have costed upwards of $500. Perhpas it had something to do with my car having been ripped apart when it was stolen. I think a bracket was missing. *shrugs*
