AHELP!!!!!!!!
Alright I bought some clear signal lights the other day. I have had the orange lights in ever since I bought the car. One day I hit a curb and the left side light would never go back in correctly it would fit but the bolt that you screw in to support the light acts like it was stripped. So I decided to put the clears in today and it worked good for about 30 minutes and then the light popped out. I was wondering about what bolt size I should use the only thing I know about the bolt is that it is a phillips and it is long. I was told to use an oversize bolt tried it and it failed. So if you guys could help me out with this or have any other suggestions leave em
There is a little metal clip that you are actually threading into. Both of mine took a crap. I pulled the clip off, went to lowes got some longer bolts that fit the lights, also got some nuts and lock washers. If you reach in behind the fender liner you can put the nuts on and tighten everything down. I think I ran a larger washer so the nut did not pull through the plastic.
it is a little tab of plastic sticking out, correct??? There is supposed to be a little metal clip over that. One of mine fell off at some point and the other one was stripped.
