Alright, well in all of my research, and this is just me personally... i have an aem intake, and if your goin cold air then thats a good intake... as for cams... skunk2 seems to be the most popular choice and ive heard nothing but good bout em, headers... ummm, id go with a comptech cuz it seems to be the best header for the price... exhaust, mine cuz im gettin rid of it...haha, jk...

personally, neither of those brands intreste me in exhaust or intake. Skunk2 maybe, but not AEM. I just went with a generic piping and a K&N filter for my intake. As of headers, if you got the money, spoon it up. If not DC 4-2-1 headers are good for starters. And for the exhaust, i love my HKS exhaust. I have thier hi-power cat-back exhaust and its awesome. Nice mellow sound and it isnt too loud either. hope this helps

I don't have much experience with intakes, but I liked the old AEM cold air (I have NO experience with the V2). For exhaust I'd go with an Apexi N1 and I think that Skunk 2 makes very good stuff for all motor cars.

AEM V2 would be a good pick with a DC4-1 Headers and skunk2 catcback and skunk2 intake manifold...and skunk2 cam gears.....prolly will give you about 30-40 horses more.....

It really won't matter too much. Find an exhaust you like, a header that fits your price range, and an intake that doesn't look like a piece.

Unless you really get into some internals (cams, etc.) it's all sort of trivial.

Good Luck,

Ian

personally i have an injen cold air, that i picked up for 70 bucks from my friend, dc sports 4-1 header, apexi n1 exhaust, and i love it. about to put on a high flow cat to comeplete the intake exhaust business. but thats what i chose and i couldnt be happier, hks hi-power is a great exhaust too

the skunk2 intake manifold is a good choice... but skunk2 exhaust never did to much for me, i've seen it on one integra, a prelude and an accord, i didnt like the sound at all just personal opinion

i wouldnt buy an exhaust just because it says aem or dc or skunk2 on it

i have an aem cai and i love it
i also have comptech 4-2-1 headers (stepped very good)
but i payed 415$ for it
also if your going to buy a performance cats, look into magnaflow or any carsound cat. also youll wana match the collector size of all parts of your exhaust system, so research some sizes, with the sound or brand preference w/e. gl

just my 2cents

thankx a lot meng..
and thats pretty much IT.. the size.. i wanna make sure the headers go with the cat back... ... the manifold... looks like im gon go with the skunk 2.. and the aem v2 intake..but im thinking about that one because it looks like the air for the intake comes from the bottom of the car where the tank for the hot air was.. and i dont wanna put close to the floor just because im in canada..and the snow wouldnt be so good for sucha nice intake feel me..

my reccomendations:
any cheap CAI from ebay; you get the same kind of performance as you do with skunk2 or AEM. The only thing you're paying for when you get those brands is the name.
For the manifold, hands down, go skunk.
For exhaust its all your choice. However, skunk and AEM are not great brands for exhaust. Like i said before, try HKS hi-power.

1) Ok, Skunk2 IM on a bolt-on LS will loose power.
2) DC4-1's are an over-priced, poor ITR copy, there is much better out there.
3) Skunk 2 cam gears won't do diddly with stock cams and compression.
4) Skunk 2 cat backs are FREAKIN LOUD
5) 30-40 hp or more from bolt-ons! Stop the bong hits right now.

looks good then.. so wats poping with the headers...
This HKS Hi-Power Catback Exhaust Acura Integra GS / RS / LS 2DR 1994-2001 has the following features: pipe size 55mm -- tip size 96mm.
so i gotta find headers taht will fit the pipe size or the the tip size.. ?

no... the fitting is conformed to the cat. the exhaust system goes like this... Headers, catalytic converter, piping, muffler. your headers will fit on the cat and so will the exhaust piping.
