Well, I just finished up the install on my clutch. ACT XTSS and Prolite 8.5lb flywheel.

Breaking it in now, but man it's awesome. SERIOUSLY fast engagement.

Compared to the 4puck Clutchnet that my friend has, I think I like this setup better.

The clutch engages almost right off the floor. FAST. The flywheel is awesome. The powerband feels soooo much smoother now, and the revs are quicker. Revs do drop faster, but I think that is over rated. They only drop if you cant drive, you granny shift, and dont rev match. Otherwise you'd never know.

I'm not sure if the HD pressure plate would engage slower, but for some people, they might want that. The XTSS setup is one of the fastest and smoothest engaging clutches I've ever driven. Highly recommended.

 

actually the xtreme pp is kinda bitch to drive in traffic i have it its ok with jun flywheel i prefer the hd preasure plate better

That's what I was thinking. Thing engages so damn fast. I'm about to go put some hella miles on this thing. It's so tempting just to dump the hell out of it, like my old GSR clutch. lol

 

is this clutch the new hot thing for clutches? i mena i have an ACT stage 4 with dual compound, and a aasco 8.8lb flywheel, and that **** is silly quick enguagement. i like the setup but damn its not fun todrive in traffic.
