Default AC problems

I have a 1989 Integra and my AC has a bad smell. I tried the over the counter sprays to get rid of the smell to no avail. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to properly clean the AC system? Also the air blows slowly.

start by cleaning out the cowl, this is the area under the wipers where fresh air is pulled in. If that doesent help then try pulling the blower motor and reaching as far in as you can to see if something is dead in there. Good luck

I used to have a horrible smell from my ac system. It turned out the my ac coil was leaking freon and the freon was soaking into the styrofoam inside of the box. It didnt take too long to replace it though.
