Ok so just a couple of days ago my abs light came on for my 1994 2dr gsr, I short the connector to figure out what code it maybe, but it doesn't blink or anything, just stays on bold and bright.

Never had this problem before and it use to work normally before

Is there anyway to figure out whyy it won't blink or reset?

 

How about a little description of your procedure. The first time I tried it, I did not make the connection because I did not get the paperclip in far enough to connect. Also, are you sure that you got the correct plug to short?

 

Im taking a paper and putting in the blue plug located passenger side just above the kick panel for passenger, from one end to another. Im pretty sure its working too, bc when i short it, the cel comes on

Its just that when i do that the abs light doesn't blink at all, it just on not doing a thing

 

I have a 97 GS-R and the same thing happens to me except it only comes on sometimes. But my SRS light came on a while ago and I have no clue why.

 

Did the CEL light blink when the connector was jumpered?

 

CEL light did not blink at all, it came up and just stayed on before i just pulled the paper clip, but the weirdest thing happen just now, i got out of class and turn it on just like normal and no more abs light?

The last thing i did was add brake fluid to both the clutch and brake resovir(i suck at spelling) the car and I did that last Friday?
