Default ABS Light

So, I have been on warped rottors for a while and needed new pads for a few weeks. I changed them recently but prior to the change I hit a high speed and had to brake a bit hard; the car was vibrating a lot due to the warped rottors and the pads were done, it was making a grinding noise at that point...Anyways, the ABS came on and stayed on after I got new pads and rottors, disconnected my battery to try and reset the light...Any ideas?

Check the codes (see the FAQ thread for a link). The grinding may have released metal, which can stick to the wheel speed sensor and cause it to fault. If so, they can be cleaned.

does your car by any chance while idling after 5 minutes or so make a loud humming noise...for about 4 or 5 seconds then stop? if so it is your abs motor.. mine went out, and they are common to go out. the abs light will come on randomly and go off each time you turn your car off unless its a sensor, in which case it sounds like your light is always on.. so i bet the guy above is right... if it stays on after turning your car off its deff not ur abs motor.
