Default ABS and the ebrake...

In a 98 teg, is it true that if you pull the ebrake while driving that you will damage your ABS? Also when you guys pull your ebrake, while trying to slide around, do your rear wheels lock up? Because mine don't...

No. Actually, if you pull your e-brake up a click or two to engage the switch, aka "Brake" light on the dash, for a couple of min, the ABS will be disabled.

Pull harder.

it wont damage your ABS... if you drive around w/ the ebrake up a little.. it will disable/deactivate your ABS until you turn off the car and turn it back on again... a lot of people do this to turn off their ABS when autoXing.. or whenever they dont want it on...

pull up your e-brake up quicker and harder.. it will lock the rear wheels..

Well, if your e-brake don't lock up even if you try pull it up hard and quick... then your rear caliper could be about done. I know mine is. Thre is spring loaded engaugement in the back of the rear brakes behind the dust sheild, if you use a screw drive to push it in, and then release, they should just pop right back out. But, if it's sticking... then that means your rear caliper isn't in good working condition. Plus, pulling e-bake will stratch your e-brake cable line. That line is around 100 bucks something to repair @ the dealer.

Doing drifting or fishtail is fun, but just remember you will have to pay the price. It's pretty hard on your bushing and tires too.
