Hi, I have a 94 LS integra and i get this Code 12 pump motor error. My friend came over with a used ABS motor. He checked most of the cables of the ABS/relay of my car and it seems fine. However, the motor doesn't seems to run at all (no sound or any vibration). So what he did was the swap the used ABS unit by only plugging the power cord and not the tubes. He started the car and the light went off, but there's a pretty high pitch noisde from the ABS (but at least the ABS motor is on). My question: Is the high pitch noise normal? He didn't install it to the car, he just leave it ontop of the old unplugged ABS unit (newspaper in between). If he install it to the car w/ all the tubes plugged, would the sound go away?

 

i actually have the same prob but too lazy to fix it. bad news: that abs motors no good...
