Default abs

i drive a 96 integra ls and the abs has started to act funny its like when you slam on the brakes and its kind jerky on the peddle when you do an abs stop or how it works when slipery and you hit the brakes and the abs applys and unapplys the breaks you get that jerkey feel. well now it has started doing that under normal brakeing coming up to stop lights when im almost stoped it acts like the brakes dont work does any one have any ideas?

did you change your tire size(smaller wheel diameter will cause early or wrong activation of abs)? is an abs light on in the dash? does the abs light in the dash blink? air gap on the wheel sensor could be out of adjustment (if they're adjustable). take it to anyone with an obd2 scanner (preferably acura).

Read the ABS error code; instructions in the sticky thread at the top here. Tell us what the error code is so we don't have to guess about it.

Wheel/tire size doesn't matter, as long as all 4 are the same.
