ok, so last thursday, i bought my first car, a 1998 Acura Integra RS, and it came without power locks, but it still has a switch to lock/unlock the hatch, if i took it to the dealership or an auto-maintenance place would they be able to make that switch control all the doors? and would it be expensive?

 

Just get a good aftermarket alarm that controls your locks...Factory Keyless entry suks

 

how much would one cost and do you have any in mind, and also, for the RS, can you pop the trunk on a '98 or do you need to use the key everytime?

 

well first thing is you need power actuators to operate those door locks. If possible, I would recommend trying to retrofit factory actuators, maybe from a junkyard or something. Then after that, get an aftermarket alarm w/ keyless entry system.
