Default 98+ conversion

to anyone that has put the 98 front end on their 94-97, how much did it cost you for all the parts, what parts did you use(oem or knockoff), and how much was paint?
thanks for any help

P.S. if anyone reading this would like to sell their 98+ front end, let me know

Look in the classifieds you can probably find one there, all you need is the bumper and headlights. If your lucky you can find one thats already your paint color.

I have 2 entire 98+ front ends for sale...that's hood, headlights, fenders, bumper, though you could just swap the bumper and headlights...PM me for more info

As far as the body goes, I thought it was just Bumper, Headlights, Painted Side Moldings & skirts, Tail Lights and Rear Bumper. Please correct me if I'm wrong, im curious now too.

in order to do a 98+ conversion you will need:

98+ front bumper
98+ headlights
98+ turn signals
98+ turn signal brackets

96+ mirrors (don't quote me on this, but i think the mirrors changed in 96, making 96+ different than 94-95)

98+ tail lights
98+ rear bumper

paint matched side skirts came on the type r, not 98+. the type r side skirts are also a tad bit longer than other integra side skirts.

side moldings came painted before 98, but i forget what year and trim levels they came on. i know my 97 gs has painted side moldings.

Your right on everything, its also a good idea to get new tail light gaskets since integra's are known to leak.

this is not a wtb/fs section. do not keep bumping your thread for that purpose. your question was answered, and then confirmed by more than one person.

if you want to place a WTB ad, please go here
https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/68

or you can try placing a WTB ad in your regional section, which can be found by clicking here
http://hondamarketplace.com/

good luck

i actually originally bumped it because no one has answered the question. i asked what parts people have used to do it(oem or aftermarket), where they got the parts, and how much it cost them to have the bumper painted.
i have heard a lot of good things that will help me, but none in that question

OEM can range anywhere from $250-$500+ depending on condition etc
i would suggest staying away from aftermarket (ebay) as fitament is 9 times out of 10, ****.

people have used both. i would suggest oem, but aftermarket would obviously be cheaper. most aftermarket bumpers do not have the word "integra" etched into it.

it depends on where you go and how good the paint shop is. call your local body shop and ask for a quote.

your best bet to find OEM parts would be to search the classifieds on HT until you find something. find someone who went JDM front and is selling thier 98+ usdm.

i got lucky and found a bumper with oem lip and oem fogs for $100. the fogs lenses had cracks on them and the lip had a major crack.

the bodyshop i go to hooked me up for $360 repaired, and prepped and painted.
but if you find a clean one, i think you might be spending about the same just to get it painted. just depends on where you go to.

so now i only need the headlights. and those go for around $80

ing a 98 SPEC Conversion on my 97 gsr, and i have the front bumper, but i'm also in need of the headlights / turning signals, i didn't think you needed to change the hood / fenders, i tried to pre-fit it before anything and it seems to line up fine with the fenders / hood is there something i'm missing?
