Default 98-01 Conversion?

My friend is looking at getting a 94 Teg and converting it to the the 98+ front and rear. I tried a search, but the search engine doesn't seem to be working so just thought I'd try this. I'm not real familiar with the subtle body changes (I'm more of a "how it drives" guy) but he's determined to have the 94 look like the newer tegs. Can anyone help me out with all the info on what's needed to convert it or maybe post a link on H-T to where I can find the info? Thanks.

If the search isn't working, check around in the Appearance/Cosmetic forum for some 98+ Integras.

Basically, just the bumper, headlights, and corner lights are different. Everything else is the same. The rear bumper is a direct swap and no new hardware is needed.

You will need:
1. Front 98+ bumper
2. Inner silver metal brackets that attach to the inside of the bumper that the new 98+ corner lights attach to
3. 98+ corner lights
4. 98+ headlight assemblies
5. Rear bumper
(6). All the necessary nuts/bolts/screws to attach everything. You might be able to reuse everything, but you never know with screws and stuff.

There are styling ridges on the 98+

The 94-97 are just smooth I believe.

I Agree Rock the 94-97 fronts. . . I was going to do the same but I decided to roll with the original and I have not regretted it since

Ya, after looking at your pics I really like the original, too... but, unfortunately, it's not my car we're talking about.

i did a 98+ conversion, but i'm missing the brackets. Tape from the inside of the bumper does a temporary fix though.

Just incase your friend wants to make sure his interior is like a 98+ as well, he miight want to change the steering wheel. He could jus lookk for a 98+ air bag and do a straight swap. Difference: 94-97= "Acura" in the middle 98-01="A" Acura emblem in the middle.

2. Inner silver metal brackets that attach to the inside of the bumper that the new 98+ corner lights attach to

I always thought these were attached to the bumper, didn't relise they were seperate. Does anyone have a picture of these?
