Default 96GreenDB's Integra thread

Well I decided to join Honda-Tech finally, been in the Honda game since day one starting with my first car at 16. Heres my past rides:
90 Integra RS
92 Civic Si
95 Civic CX
92 integra GSR
91 Integra LS
94 Integra LS
96 Integra LS
01 CL-S
2004 Honda Ruckus
96 Integra SE sedan

After all the projects, I decided it was time to get somthing newer and reliable so I bought my 01 CL-S. Well after four years the car payments were getting hard to handle with my work changing and my income dropped. I had to sell her, so I picked up an 04 Ruckus for the time being as I didnt have enough cash to get anything with four wheels. A month later I got my income tax back and was looking for motorcycles. Well I came across this integra sedan on craigslist and it bit me lol. I hadn't had a four door before and I had been itching for another integra. So I went to look at it and liked what I saw. So a week later I bought it. The rest is history. Its a 96 SE 5 speed with 230k when I bought it, currently has 254k now. paid $2800 for it March of 2011

Mod list:
ITR front lip
ITR Sedan Spoiler
Red Honda H badges and chrome HONDA emblem on trunk
EM1 Si wheels with Hankook Ventus tires
4300k 55watt HID
Ebay SRI
Function Form Type 1 Coilovers

Future plans:
Black interior swap
JDM Front clip with engine swap
Paint Milano Red
Grey JDM ITR wheels and five lug swap
If I can afford it sunroof delete and RS headliner
Full ITR suspension
and Im sure Im forgetting things.

This will be a very long, ongoing project but one day it will get there. All comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Here is how it sat when I bought it.

Got my roomies 91 NSX in the pic lol

Now with the Si wheels, traded my 17's for these plus got $150 cash

Interior

Got an ITR replica lip installed

Picked up a JDM sedan ITR spoiler

Painted it myself for the time being till I can get the front bumper, lip, spoiler, and sideskirts matched.

My friend Dave helping me install my Function Form Type 1 coilovers lol

Engine bay

Slammed lol

Thanks man, its a slow moving project but I just had a baby a few months ago so she spends my money for me lol. Just started a new job so hopefully I can start putting away some for the engine swap and front end.

Looks good man, much better with the suspension and wheels that you put on. How long were you daily driving on the ruck?

But,

Sup with the spoiler on your boys' NSX? Haha.

Ive contemplated both and cant really decide. Im not tryint to stand out anymore than red will make me, and white, well you know the last thing anyone wants to do is clean their wheels all the time haha.

As for the NSX, it actually looks much better in person. here are the mods as of when I still lived with him.

Legit Mugen front valence
Taitec CF rear diffuser
Taitec Center exit exhaust and test pipes
Taitec CF spoiler
Lovefab headers
Lovefab CF rear under engine plate that connects to diffuser for aero
He has since sold the front valence and is preparing his Burn up front bumper with CF winglets and some sideskirts. He is on NSX prime if you wish to know more and he is a member on here. SiR90Hatch

Was bored at the inlaws house on easter and they have a very large yard so I went outside and had a little picture fun lol

On another note, back in December I picked up a car for my girlfriend. It was a deal I couldnt pass up but needed some love. I got a 2000 LS coupe from a desperate friend for $1100 with 86k on the chassis. The car has a rebuilt title from an accident in 2004 but was repaired. Motor was replaced in 09 for unknown reasons and has a rebuilt B18A. Car runs, has strong compression in all cylinders and all the accessories work so I really cant complain about the bad. Car came with altezza tail lights, indiglo gauges, halo headlights, had a bodykit at one time because of extra screws and holes in the fenderwells. Also had 17" rims. This is how I bought it:

Since I bought it I have replaced the IACV, oem taillights, removed halos and indiglo gauges, installed a radio and speakers, deleted the rear wiper, put some fat fives on, ITR replica lip and ITR spoiler and new brakes all the way around. I paid $1100 for the car and have only spent just over $500 on the car. Still need lowering springs and oem UCA's for the front because the rear has tanabe springs and front are oem and the aftermarket UCa's hit the frame and make it sit funny. This will be an ongoing project but my girlfriend is very happy with me lol. Lots more to come!

What color are you going to do the fat fives?

Clean non-molested tegs are getting rare! it's near impossible to find one without rust here in northen ontario and if you do it's up for 7-10K. I got lucky with my 94 gsr just minor rust on the bottom of the trunk.

Wish my girlfriend drove a teg

Lol yeah, definitely got lucky with both my tegs. I think I'm gonna do them the same color or the girl wants purple or pink lol. Gotta see what colors I can find around here at the part stores...

I used engine enamel on my bronze fat fives and they have held up very well if not better than the duplicolor wheel paint I have used in the past. Not recommending the color but the engine enamel since there tends to be more colors available

Lol yeah I pulled that brake pedal cover off haha, and twilight zone works. As regards to the Function Form Type 1's I love the ride, just as comfortable as stock with all the height adjustment you could want.
