Default 95 LS cams?

What would the best type of cams and camgears be for a B18B1 with no turbo or supercharger?

It depends on where you want your powerband. Want a meaty power band, but arent looking for enormous power gains? 403's will be great for you. Dont care about lumpy idle and want high rpm HP and high RPM torque? 404's are more down your isle. 403's can be ran with without retainers, so long as you keep your stock redline, 404s need to breath higher, so retianers would be nessecary, since your rasing your redline to accomodate to the cams. (both cams should be paired with crowers dual-springs) I myself went with the 404s, but it should be noted, that with big cams on the LS engine, the best thing you can do is gt higher cr pistons (money!) and GET IT TUNED, that last step is important.
