94-99 GSR header decisive problems
Bleh blam away for this, it seems like a newb question but im having a decisive problem.
Currently all the mods in my sig is what I have - obviously no header.
Future plans possibly include mild buildup - nothing extreme, such as ctr cams and possible upgraded pistons.
Heres the decisive area - I currently have a Greddy Evo Cat-back which is about 2.4" diameter - not quite 2.5" .... and I do have to retain stock cat or get high-flow cat with the o2 bungs.
As for header this is where the options vary because it requires others opinions and experiences -
I have a feeling the JDM DC is gonna be a top favorite but then what do i do for the rest of the exhaust because there isnt much 2.5" cat-back out there and the local muffler guy is a dick who crush bends **** and tells people its mandrel lol.

my vote goes to the comptech header since it's smog legal. second choice would be the jdm itr header ONLY if you don't mind the fact it's not smog legal and has ground clearence if your ride is too low.
iwould go with a oem jdm itr 4-1 header, the comptech peice is also very nice. There are a few companies that have a 2.5 exhaust. also ht member kteller8 sells mandrel bent peices all you have to do is get some pieces welded and add resonator and muffler.
