91 LS OBD conversion fuel issue
First off, I'm Mike, and as the title suggests I have a problem.
The car is a 91 LS. The motor an OBD1 B16A.
Motor was picked up for $300 locally here in Birmingham, AL. Not knowing much about it, I did make an effort to check a few things and replace a few more. Replaced the head gasket, timing belt, water pump, usual things. When purchased the motor had an Ebbs(?? on spelling) intake manifold and Hondata thermal gasket, No fuel rail to be found... I bought a Boomslang OBD0 - OBD1 conversion harness directly from Boomslang. I obviously had to have a 4 wire O2 and wired OBD1 dizzy plugs on the engine harness. I put OBD0 injectors in and therefore left the resistor box intact. ECU is a JDM P30.
The Problem
The car will start and run,... on 3 cylinders. The number 1 injector is not opening. I tested resistance throughout. The injectors all test 9.6 ohms including number 1. There is continuity from injector to ecu and resistor box to ECU as well as injector to resistor box. I had an extra resistor box laying around. I cut the clip off and bypassed the resistor box. I put in OBD1 injectors and got the same result. No fuel being allowed through fuel injector number 1.
So my question is this... Has anyone seen anything similar? If so was the problem solved? And What if any steps might I have missed?
Thanks in advance.
