91 da overheating??

Default 91 da overheating??

hey wuts up yall, i have a 91 da and when i drive it for a few hours, the engine feels very weak. especially on a hot day. when i accelerate it slowly goes, until like 5th gear then its back to normal. could it be my radiator and thermo?

alot of things can contribute to overheating. here are some examples and things you might want to try:

head gasket
thermostat
see if enough coolent is there (common problem)
make sure u have no air bubbles in the coolent system
good radiator cap
no cloged up system/lines


i cant really think of anything else. but check those problem's and tell us how it went.

thnks, i think imma flush the radiator and see how it goes, and maybe change the rad cap too.

Does the temperature gauge indicate overheating? Or are you just going by the engine feeling weaker?

na, the temp gauge is fine, i just feel the engine getting weaker. i know its getting weaker. it cant accelerate at all, very slow. got cars tailgating all the time cuz of it.

nah, it's not your radaitor.

Replace the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, change the fuel and air filter and you'll be back in business.
