I have seen the instructions on how to do this on that BMW website. I was wondering if it would be better to just get a new plug. I mean to cut off the 9006 plug from the harness and wire in a 9005 one. I'm asking this because I was thinking if doing this upgrage with the SilverStars and at $25 a pop, a mistake would suck. Anyone know if there would be a down side to installing a new connector??

 

as far as I knoe, you dont have to cut anything on the harness. All you do is modify the bulb. Just get a damn hid. Look in the classified section, i posted about a groupbuy on hid. 350 dollars

 

One of my friends actually just cut 2 extra slots in his 9006 harnesses, so it will accept any 9006 or 9005 bulb w/o any modification to the bulb.
