i have an 90 integra and its trowing the code 9??...anyone knows how to fix it or what seems to be the problem?...

find out what code 9 is first, were not that good mayne...!..lol

 

replace your distributor... its the cylinder position sensor... and im pretty sure its easier and cheaper to just replace the distributor... (find a used one)

 

are you sure its code 9 and not code 90? one time i got a code and thought it was 9, but when i checked again it turned out to be 90 which is just your gas tank cap

 

yea first make sure its code 9 and not 90. if it flashes 9 quick times then its 9, if it flashes 9 slow times then its a 90. each long(slow) blink counts as 10 and each short(quick) flash counts as 1.

code 9 = CYP cylinder postion sensor

code 90 = EVAP emission leak (gas)

90 usually comes up when the gas cap is loose or off. ORRR it may have a leak in the line some where. smell for gas.

9 can be fixed by replacing the dizzy. Its much easier to just replace the whole thing then tryin to fix it. try a used one at first, and if it fixes the prob. get a new one!
