Battery light is on brand new battery it has 12.47 volts when car on 14.39volts everything is perfect except the battery light stays on now my car keeps turn off suddenly it a brand new alternator by the way yes i cleaned all connections check grounds everything is good, thing is the battery light is on stays on now all of a sudden my car shuts off out of no where the if i hit the main relay its starts back up my old relay went bad i put a civic relay from the junk yard in it , it has work fine till now when i put a new alternator in it do u think it has something to do with the fact i put in a honda civic main relay into an acura ??????? is that why the battery light stays on now cause the voltage burnt out the honda relay now everything is new alternator and battery???? dont kno confused anyone??
