sure its a better braking system, but in conjuntion on a dc2 (non itr or rs) the weight is going to be a lot more as well. IF thats what you want though then go for it. I think the money could be well spent else where, but most importantly what are your plans for the car and style of driving?

style of driving: autox and mountain runs.

is it really that much heavier to slow you down?

The conversion would also give you the safety of an extra lug. It all depends upon how much you're getting the conversion for. If you can get it for cheap, then go for it, if not, then don't.

I'd buy it if I found the conversion plus the JDM wheels for somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500 shipped.

would you do it for $750, minus the rims, shocks, springs?

Yes I would, you can get a set of Rota's for cheap, and then get some aftermarket suspension componenets. The $750 includes the control arms right?

yes control arms, hubs, rotors, calipers. basically everything but the actual suspension (shocks/springs) and knuckle.

Can't you get the wilwood kits for around 600? The only reason I ever consider 5 lug is for the gunmetal 7 spoke rims (O face).

not worth it. get your self some wilwoods or a fast brakes upgrade, and spend the rest on other mods
