Default 5 lug conversion

What would i need to get a 5 lug conversion on my LS. I found this conversion from a civic type-r but not sure if it will compatible with my ls.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Are there any cheaper alternatives to get that 5 lug conversion without haveting to purchase a whole new brake assembly rotors cambers etc.?

and anyone know the size of a stock integras exhaust pipe size?

If you want 5 lugs, 11.1" front/10.4" rear brakes are the smallest you can get. If you want larger brakes, you dont need to go to 5-lug. That is NOT worth it. and 300$ for shipping?

Yes it will fit on your LS, only issue is to use your stock e-brake cables, and also because the civic front knuckles are about a half inch shorter, you may have a slight positive camber issue in the front, but if your car is lowered like 2 inches or more, then your all set.

i think the price is about right if you consider that it's probably from overseas...

is there maybe an easier/cheaper way of getting 5 lugs conversion instead of buying the whole assembly? my goal is only to get the 5 lugs and get new rotors, new big brake kit and i would eventually get coilovers as well and rims and cambers, that is my goal but need to find the assemblies for a decent price.

then you'll need the 5-lug hub, ITR/CTR calipers, ITR/CTR rotors, brake pads, and thats about it for the front. real you'll need the same. since they are larger than GSR brakes, you may want a 1" MC. Plus, an ITR brake setup will be better for you than some of the big brake kits that simply space your stock caliper farther out, and lots of em use drilled rotors (drilled = bad).

5-lug conversions arent really cheap, sorry. why do you need the 5th lug? there ARE big brake kits where you dont have to go to 5-lug. I dont reccomend em in general, but some are good.

People need to search, Ive said this a million times.
ONCE AGAIN...

ITR brakes:

The back, you will want the spindle from a Integra/Civic that had rear discs. You will want ITR calipers, and for rotors, use the rotors from a 02 Civic Si hatch. Those are 4x100 and the same offset and **** and 10.4" like the ITR.

Front, 11.1" rotors from a ITR or 96 Lude VTEC redrilled to 4x100, and the pads/calipers can come from an ITR, CTR, 91-97 Accord V6, 97-01 Prelude, 91-95 Legend, 92-94 Vigor.

Theres your stopping power of the ITR, with 4 lugs. If you choose to stick with the front hubs of yours, there is the issue of offset with the rotors. Research this, but its basically a 3.2mm spacer between the rotor and hub, or grinding 3.2mm (bout 1/8") off of the back of the caliper brackets (from the ITR or equivelent) caliper bracket where it touches the knuckle.

with the prelude calipers.....you may need to use washers like I did.....unless you shave some of the caliper material off so that it won't grind or rub against the rotors. Ah well...

oh hell no. Do I look like an idiot? lol don't answer that.

basically the washers had to go on the caliper brackets. I had to "move" it over a bit so it didn't grind with the rotor as the wheels were turning. They were small washers, and not large enough to affect how tight the bolts sat. That and I used thread lock and kept checking it for a while after the conversion was complete. Turned out alright actually No problems since.

I dont get it. The bracket needs to be grinded so that the inside is pushed back. washers would push it closer. What do you mean?

Well, the way the prelude calipers bolted up to the ITR front knuckles, the outter part of the bracket ( the part you see through my rims ) was grinding on the outter surface of the rotor. The washers pushed it out just enough so that there was "even" spacing so that the rotor could travel through the bracket without one side grinding or should I say "rubbing" on any part of the caliper bracket. If you need a pic....I'll post one up to show you. The rear prelude calipers were fine as they were oddly enough.....

sure...but these are going to be some large pics. And...I don't have any at the angle to which I could show you what I meant. I didn't encounter the problem until AFTER we were done with the conversion....I'll try to take some pics tomorrow to show you what I meant.

get the whole assemblies and add some NSX bling... here's a pic on my LS. btw you need extended studs and open end lugs and a spacer for the rears.

Please do. Also, do the prelude calipers differ from ITR/Legend calipers? Is that bracket a 23T or somethin else? what rotors are those for?

23T? Not sure what you meant by that at the moment Brain fart

But those are stock Prelude calipers from a type SH....brackets and all. Those rotors are brembos cross-drilled and slotted ( planning on getting just slotted later ) for a type r as it stated on the box...but for some reason...I coulda sworn they were a bit bigger than the OEM rotors....
