Default 2000 gsr future setup

well i currentyl have dc 421 and greddy sp catback aem intake, planning to go all motor,i dont wanna replace my current setup.
i want a mild setup for daily driving and a little extra kick like 30 plus whp when i need to.
Here is what i planned.
skunk 2 intake manifold with comptech type r intake, skunk 2 stage 1 cams, cam gears, wiseco pistons 11.5.1 compression ratio, not sure if i need a new tb,new valve springs retainers, anybody have recommendations for valve springs /retainers that will work well with skunk 2 stage 1 cams besides skunk 2's titanium.
In terms of tuning either apex vafc or hondata s2000 with obd 1 conversion harness

I think Portflow valvetrain is good and also look at Rockets valvetrain.

didn't this guy just have a thread about his future NA setup that got to about 4 pages long?

there isn't a single question mark in his post.

yea man how streetable do you really wanna be? lol. i think that setup would run fine but you will get bored of it. i think s2s2 cams and 12.5:1 compression. have some fun if you are dishin out the money, pistons should cost around the same and cams arent that much more. s2s1's are somewhere around same hp gains as ctr cams. and 11.5:1 compression isnt really all that high for all motor. **** ctr pistons give you 12:1 c/r lol. actually rethinking what you want out of your car. save your money on the pistons and just buy ctr pistons, find some s2s2's and either crower or s2 springs and retainers, get some dished valves if you want even higher compression. get the head ported and polished with a 5 angle valve job if you take the head off, and you will do if you change your valvetrain. s2 mani's are good and if you want a new tb go with either itr or str. you dont really need one tho. the manifold is supposed to give good hp since the gsr one flows like junk unless it is completely machined.
i think gsr motors give you the best bang for your buck when you mod them almost always since they have similar bottem end to an itr and a head that flows fairly well and will give you higher compression than pretty much any other stock b-series head.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't dished valves lower your compression? I think you meant flat faced. It's cool though.

I seem to remember at least 2 other threads started by this guy about the same thing.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by greenteg2k00 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">thanks ,what do you think about wiseco pistons</TD></TR></TABLE>

Wiseco makes good pistons, but it's overkill for what you're trying to accomplish. For less money you can get JDM ITR pistons and a Spoon headgasket and have your 11.5:1 compression, plus the quality and reliability of OEM Honda.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by greenteg2k00 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i want to stick with skunk 2 stage 1 cams so i will pass smog, and it be more reliable daily driver</TD></TR></TABLE>

"Skunk2" and "reliable" shouldn't be used in the same sentence.
