2-step? what is it?
Its a second rev limiter used to perfect launching. It holds the rpms at a certain rpm so you dont have to try to hold it there pretty much. Or for cars with boost, it gets the turbo spooled up before the launch.

Because it cuts spark and still sends fuel which causes it to backfire and im guessing the exhaust on the car is pretty huge and loud so backfires are probably louder than gunshots.

I cant see the video because i'm at work, but is this the video of the white civic and he revs up trying to scare the people in the shop? If thats the car then that thing is crazy, I've seen it at the local strip about 2 years ago and that thing was still spining them through 5th. Then it got stolen
aw **** haha thats crazy but yea this is the white EK with 712 hp...but that is why i dont post **** up on the inet...too easy for fools to see it stolen...where you work at to look at this during work??? lol...
