I just bought a car for parts and it has a B18C4. Does anyone know anything about this engine? It has a C1 style intake manifold. Thank you

 

I could be wrong, but I believe it is just the code for a GSR engine from another country... don't remember what country, but it's not japan if i remember correctly... don't think it's canada either. pretty sure it shares the same specs as the c1 though.

I'm pretty sure that the B18C4 is from Australia. I'm not sure if it's the same specs as the USDM GSR (B18C1) or the USDM ITR (B18C5).

i concur -- i beleive its the same as the usdm gsr b18c1 as well.

There are a lot of C's. The C6 and C7 are Euro and Aus. Spec Type R engines.
