143K on engine
Cams for $325 ('97 to '98 spec) to $400 (JDM or '00+ spec) shipped.
Valvespring sets are typically $100 to $150.
ITR LMA's are $240+ (new from Acura) and around $150 from personal sellers. Rare to find new, unused sets from personal sellers tho.
ITR Intake Valves run about $125 (new from jdmhondaparts.com), and $130 (new from Acura).
You'll also want to replace the valve guides and valve guide seals.
If you buy used pistons, buy a new set of OEM honda piston rings.
Try out ACL bearings (from Rocket or Earl), and plastigage or mic for oil clearances. If they come within your desired specification, then you can save $150 by not using the OEM Honda bearings.
Run your standard checks on the block and head.
.deck straightness (head and block)
.crank endplay (before an after new thrust bearings)
.rod endplay
.bore roundness & taper
.bore appearance and fingernail check
.crank main journal run-out
.piston ring end gap
.piston ring-to-groove clearance (if you're using used pistons)

It'll drop right onto the block, but there's no benefit to it. Both B17A and B18C5 engines use the PR3 head. There's a little valve and maybe port work on the ITR head, but that's the only benefit that you'd be paying for.
oh...
now i'm not really smart with cars, i'm just trying to learn here. but i thought the head was the camshafts and stuff too...
anyway, that saves me money. i want to rebuild my entire engine using type r internals, maybe aftermarket if it's better.
