Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
^^^ This isn't a picture thread. We have one of those already. Word of advice? Lay off the crappy Photoshop filters if you don't really know how to use them.
Okay buddy relax no need to get emotional , it's just a cell phone pic clown.Word of advice , change your profile pic *****
Finallly installed my new brake booster and adjusted the pedal position, did a full bleed and replaced the fluid with fresh Honda brake fluid, brakes have never felt better. Headed out to fix my reverse lights, then getting her inspected.
Finished priming and painting a heat shield I bought for $10 bucks from the junkyard and cleaned up. I used Rust-Oleum 2000F High Heat primer and paint. Now to cure it in the oven and throw it in the car.
Due to Tijuana people doing crappy jobs and replacing wiring with speaker wire, I had to find which color wire went to each speaker wire on my EG powerwindows, about 10. ON a side note if anyone knows or has power window wiring for an EG, PM me
I spun my poor EG on the freeway, bald tires and a lead foot. F*cked up my inner tie rod ends. bought new tires today, going to autozone tomorrow to grab replacement ends. SPOILER ALERT, my exhaust is damn near frankenchopped together and any bolts are more than likely to be seized. i might have to drop manifold-tail... non-bodacious, ted.
I don't ever get to post what I did today but I get to post at work the next day what I did last night. Well last night I took my AC compressor and condincer out to make room for the alt on my h22a in my 95 sedan its been a fun car so far but I'm ready for it to be back on the streets she needs to be seen!!!
Swapped some sensors over from my spare IM.
Noticed the tranny mount bolt wasn't tightened all the way.... proceeded to snap the nut off the frame! FML. Gotta pickup some penetrating lube and borrow my neighbours BFAG (big friggin air gun!)

Cleaned and detailed my engine bay a little. No pics because it still looks dirty and always will. Northeast climate ftw.
It's ok man just pretend you did it today we don't care.

Heat shield looks good btw

Got it inspected, and fixed the odd clunking noise that had developed. Tomorrow looks like it'll be gutting, wiring, and interior day.
Been thinking of doing this on my 95 del Sol....but don't want to damage the pristine original paint.
Cheers, Senior Sol
Not necessarily, but the clear coat on the EJ chassis's are notorious for peeling from ambient engine heat.
I put new heat shields on the exhaust manifold and on the catalytic converter because they were rattling like none other. Also got done with putting my AC in but also found out at my mechanic shop that the discharge and suction hose were in bad shape and were leaking. So I've ordered them off of Majestic Honda and they should be here soon! I'll have air conditioning for the winter!! :D
