Thanks guys.

Actually, things might be getting interesting. I might be driving Jellybean a lot more, which means I need to get her looking better ASAP.

We shall see. It's possibly I'll start on the body work next week

Nice car, nice story. Hopefully the Del Sol I'm eyeballing will turn as great as yours.

Justa lil update. I will (hopefully) be buying at least the fender for her on Wednesday and I'll start sanding on it. I'm also going to start prepping my wing (I have an OEM wing thats going on too).

I didn't get the hammer/dollys last week but I shall this week (my bro forgot them) so I will start on the body work this weekend instead.

Also, if it's not too much money, I will buy another hood too (which will save me lotso work) since the one I have is dented.

Stay tuned, lots of updates to come. I'll get a pic or 2 of how she sits now before the final transformation begins.

BTW, if you wanna be a good ole chap and help me out, I'd love to know the location of the holes for the wing (so I can have it in the same spot as OEM or super close to it). That would just be awesome

Nice 93. I have a 94 Si myself. Hopefully your Del Sol will be as good to you as mine has been to me. At 164k I haven't run into any major issues.

Look forward to seeing the end result.

You guys should love me.. I took pictures in the RAIN.

Actually, I wasnt going to but then I thought nobody takes pics in the rain, so I took em. I know why people don't take pics in the rain now (hunt: you get wet).

Here's a before in case you don't remember how Jellybean looked when I bought her.

Here she is now.

And just a couple other pics.

But don't forget she has an ugly side...

Honda sold these wings as an after market part and included a template for the mounting location. I would look around I know at one time someone had uploaded the template

Well I purchased a decent amount of paint/sanding supplies yesterday. Went to the junkyard that USE to have all of the del sols to get a hood/fender and he had sold them.

This throws a rather large kink in my chain of plans Now I have to source out a hood/driverside fender which absolutely BLOWS.

BUT, on the plus side, I will be working on the rear panel really hard starting tomorrow (if my bro didnt forget the hammer/dollys.)

Soo yeah, lots of updates this weekend I'd love it if I could actually finish that quarter panel, but I doubt it. We shall see.

An off topic post, but I feel somewhat obligated to be honest in my build threads abotu my interests, who I am and whatnot.

I do love to drum Mike Wengren is one of my favorite drummers (Disturbed, which is my fav band).

Evolution of my drumset. I post because I just got my drum rack setup last night: I haven't even got to jam on it yet (that will be fixed today though :D)

1 - Terrible

2 - Better

3 - I played like this for a while

4 - With my drum rack. Still have to get two more heads and better cymbals (and a cowbell).

-----------------------------

I will purchase moar paint stuff today I'm keeping a tally of everything so I can add it to my final build price for Jellybean: What it takes to go from rags to riches (figuratively speaking). My goal is to make her look good as inexpensively as possible.

We shall see. Updates soon!

I've got Iron Cobra's, which are pretty good. I need to practice more. Thats a nice lil set there, real clean! I likes the white. Who makes it?

I've been mulling over trying to find another bass drum like mine and go to a true dual bass setup :D That would be awesome. I'd have to switch out pedals, but that would be ok.

Glad to see another drummer

Hey man Cobra is just as good! I have a double bass but I lost a set screw for my slave pedal. My set is a Premier. I play guitar too but drums are my guilty pleasure and more of a hobby than anything.

Well, I didnt get as much work done as I wanted to.

Saturday my friends wanted to take my wife and I out to a movie for our anniversary. So that messed up my plans BUT we did see Rise of the Apes and it was awesome. Go see it.

Then Yesterday I started working, but then it started raining so I had to stop I did get my fuel door on and it now works like it should ( I couldnt use the door lever to open it, had to kinda pry it open

I stuck my wing on Jelly just to see what it looked like and honestly, I dunno if I'm going to use it or not. I bought it with me and I'll take some pictures at lunch with it on and compare them to the wingless pictures. We shall see.

Anyway, here's a few pics

Before:

After:

And with the wing.

I'm no good with the hammer and dolly, sadly I just made dents worse because I don't knwo how to use them properly What a n00b.

Anyways, more pics to come later today

Enj0y!
