I think I'm about to go off the wagon and back into ITR ownership for next season autocrossing in DS again. What I'm looking for with little success is a semi-stock, clean, low oil consumpion (I'd like to do a compression test), no body damage/rust Type R. My budget is around $16k and maybe a little more for a garage queen; I know they're out there, I've had one but finding one is like pulling teeth.

I know that I would make more money parting out the car, but I would rather sell this to a ITR member that could restore it or turn it to a full race car.

The car mechanically is sound! I could drive it cross country without issues, but the body is in somewhat rough shape. Needs attention.

Minor Issues:
- One ding the size of a penny on the very bottom edge of the drivers door where the metal is exposed.
- One ding on the passenger qtr. panel size of a dime.
- NO AC or PS. I had eliminated all AC or PS at one point and used an N1 crank pulley. But this summer I put in all a/c components and a/c only needs the belt and refrigerant. PS pump/brackets are all in, only needs a factory nipple on PS rack and the PS belt. I have all PS hoses.
- Leaks oil from oil pan. Oil pan gasket needing to be replaced (doesn't leak a ton, only about half teaspoon full after parking)

- Have new oil pan gasket just dont have time to replace

- A CEL with a too rich code that comes up every now and then... I've never been able to figure it out... but i haven't seen it in a while. But if it does pop up on you don't be alarmed, if you reset it, it won't come back for another few thousand miles... I think it might be the fuel pump? That's the only thing I've never checked on the car... The previous owner had rc injectors so i'd suspect that he had an aftermarket fuel pump of some sort. It was never a huge problem for me so i never really looked to see if it was an oem or aftermarket fuel pump

- ALL ECT sensors
- Lower and upper radiator hoses
- Waterpump, tensioner, Timing belt changed at 25K miles, etc... (i wanted a toda timing belt so i went ahead and changed everything)
- Distributor cap/rotors, plugs, new wires (done in the past 3,000 miles)
- Oil change with OEM HONDA 10w30 every 2,000-3,000 miles
- Cam seals (STR) both sides
- Valve lash adjustment
- Honda coolant flush,
- Currently at stock height with ITR springs

KNOWN ISSUES FOR THIS VEHICLE

There are very few issues with this vehicle and they are pretty minor. But I'm listing EVERYTHING I know so please be sure you understand the condition of the vehicle, ask any questions as necessary

1) The dome light in the vehicle does not work, I have not diagnosed it except to say it's not the fuse.

2) The rear trunk latch does not work, you have to use the key to open the rear hatch.

3) The old muffler on the car was installed a little too close to the rear bumper so a little of the plastic edging was eroded just a bit around the muffler area of the bumper. You can't tell unless you look from underneath and there is a rubber molding I put around it. A new muffler has been put on and installed away from the bumper so the problem doesn't exist now. The damage is small in size and again, you can't tell unless you're looking from below.

4) Slight curb rash hear and there, 1 of the 4 wheels is a 6 out of 10 I'd say, the other 3 wheels are an 8-9 out of 10.

5) The paint on the fenders are in good condition but if you want them perfect, they could use a respray. Again, they look very good, but they're not 100% perfect. No more than normal wear and tear for sure! The area on the driver side fender where it meets the bumper has been touched up with some touchup paint.

6) No A/C, no P/S, no rear seat. These aren't issues for me but maybe for someone else so I thought I'd mention them

The head have a port polish job done out in California by RS Motorsports. Ferrea Valve train(valves/guides/retainers/dual valvesprings) Transmission is stock. Hondata S300 ECU

I had the motor rebuilt because the Type R head was mated on an LS block for turbo. I bought the block from the previous owner to put it in my hatch but never got around to doing it and eventually bought the whole car from him.

Parting ways with my beloved 1997 Integra Type R #507. ODO reads 123,XXX. Motor was swapped by previous owner with a 96spec B18c-R motor. Miles are speculated to be between the 40-60k mile mark. Still has original Transmission.

Title shows rebuilt in OH and rebuilt in KY. Just put a new JDM OEM front bumper and metal fenders on less than a 2 years ago. It has a VIS Spoon Sports replica carbon fiber front lip. Due to a recent hail storm one of the fenders got severval dents. The rear bumper will need to be replaced or reworked. It has a azect rear lower lip molded to the bumper and is cracked from being rear ended on a hit and run. Has some dings here and there nothing major. She could use new paint, but still looks good when cleaned up right.

Will need timing belt and water pump replaced soon. Also the driverside windows has started getting slow and need a new motor or regulator. Will probably need new rings at some point, it burns some oil. New tires will be needed it at some point. This car is not perfect, thats the reason for the price.

Hi, I have to sell my ITR. 100% bone stock and black on black.
Has 20,000 miles and not a blemish on the car or inside the interior. Car has been part of a private collection of very famous person before I bought it. I paid $21K for it and that was the highest price one I think from all the ones I looked at. I did not want anything with over 30K miles or not stock.

I am asking $19K and know that this is not the car for everyone. Someone who wants the very best ITR in the nation with strict requirements about low miles and being stock. This is a 99pt car with 100pt being reserved for brand new and still in the show room.

I simply have too many cars and don't ever drive this gem. Although it is the best ride ever but not quite as comfortable as my 911 as a daily driver. New Tires and New Battery and always serviced at dealer. Looks the same as when it came off the showroom yrs ago as always garaged.
