Okay so i just purchased a 1993 honda civic EX sedan, the car is immaculate beside this power lock issue im having. the issue is that the power lock doesnt work.

I check the fuse and i checked the wiring. Everything is good as far as i know.

The pervious owner told me that it was in working condition until some one try to break into the car using a "slim jim" as you may call it. He said every since then the locks hasnt been working. I pulled the panel off and checked the wiring and everything looks normal.

I've been searching h-t, yahoo, google and i can not seem to find any answer to my problem.

Everything else electrical works, the locks is the only thing giving me problems. Has anyone ever had this problem or knows any soultion to this problem.

Remove the driver's door panel and check the door lock rods. I believe it was bent/damaged during the vandalism.

 

None of the power locks work? Do the doors manually lock and unlock easily? If so, double check 20A dash fuse 6 and then do the input tests shown in my next post.
