ah yeah makes sense

The guy that did my exhaust loved my car , offered me $5k (I said I'll think about it)

He managed to bend one long pipe all the way no welds except at the muffler, best cust. exhaust I've ever had and it's whisper quiet.

I've had throaty exhausts for many years and wanted to go sewing machine quiet this time and to my surprise I LOVE IT.

I don't have that annoying drone of the exhaust anymore. I never had a fart can I can't stand that raspy sound

Dont know how to use that quote stuff yet, new to the forum here.

But Agent 47

Dont know what kind of springs they are, probably ebay, with the height adjusters.

For rims and tires I have 15x7's wrapped with discontinued 195-50r15 goodyear tires

Btw anyone have any good ideas for sutting up the squeaky targa top? lol

For the del sol get this and nothing else and use it at least twice a year to keep the seals on the top fresh and squeak free.

It's silicone grease, there may be comparable products, but this stuff runs about $12 for tube the size of toothpaste

Shin-Etsu Silicone grease Honda Part# 08798-9013

Figured I'd just update and say there hasn't been anything exciting goin on with Jelly. Just driving her basically everyday, wherever I want to go.

I did leave the lights on last night and had to jump it off this morning. That pretty much sucked. Least it wasn't raining AIDS infected fire breathing rabid gay velociraptors. That would have made the scale of difficulty much higher.

Heyyyyyy! I did some work on Jellybean! A seam in the fenderliner tore away some of the driver side tire (right in the middle) from scrubbing when I hit a bump. I noticed this on Thursday.

So, I went ahead and had my 50 series tires put on her. Lookin good now! Gotta get pics up :]

I need to do the brakes as well, along with the brake master cylinder.

I ordered some new pads for the rear and have new pads for the front already (just have to install them). I also ordered my brake master cylinder, as mine as been leaking since I bought Jellybean and has got worse and worse.

SO, I'll replace the front/rear pads and the brake master cylinder. She may not go too fast, but she'll stop good :]

Updates when I get stuff. I still need to get pics with the new tires on.

Man, I was busy today! I bought a 10" MTX Jackhammer subwoofer, some tweeters and I'm bidding on some 5 1/4" speakers for the doors. The speakers I have suck. All the sound comes from the back {Pioneer rear's). No good.

I figure this stuff will be here next week! And I'll get em installed ASAP. Next weekend is gonna be busy.

:]

I washed her for the first time in months! It was terrible, had mildew on it I won't even comment on the inside

Here's a lil timeline, with the last pic how she looks now.

How she looked the day I bought her.

Lowered on factory wheels

With the EX wheels/60 series tires.

50 Series as of 10-7

Craaaaaaaaaaaaazy.
this is why mileage is so important on cars.

70K miles on a 93.. is EXTREMELY low.

even if he spent a total of 4,000 on yours... its not gonna be as clean or have as much life left in it..

i would pay 6k for a mint condition Sol with low miles...

but since they practically dont exist...i'll most likely end up spending 1500 on a shitty one.

You rebuild the engine. Heck, there is nothing wrong with mine. I see no reason why the engine won't go another 100k or more.

Even still, no way I'd pay 6k for a car thats 17 yrs old. BUT, he's happy. Just put Alpine speakers in it with a 720 watt amp pushing them. Good stuff

I"m HOPING my subwoofer will be here tomorrow. I doubt it though :S

Christmas is October!

Yay!

So I'll mess with this tomorrow... Possibly. Tomorrow will be a busy day. If nothing else, then Sunday for sure as brakes are important to me

Hope my other speaker stuff will be here tomorrow.

How about some updates! Yeah, you know you like updates.

So I said earlier that I had not washed Jelly in months... Here's a pic with the driver side washed, passenger unwashed.

I decided to go out and get some work done on Jelly. It was a beautiful day and I figured I'd pull the top off. Gotta love Florida weather (sometimes)

So I needed to replace the brake master cylinder. It's been leaking ever since I bought Jelly and I enjoy being able to stop.
So here's a pic of the old n busted:

Old n Busted on the left - New Hotness on the right:

New hotness installed!

While I was at it, I decide to stick new pads on the fronts as it needed new pads when I bought her

Kinda worn, ehh?

So Jelly stops eleventy billion times better. Pedal no longer sinks to the floor. Just good stuff, I'm very pleased. I'll get the new rear pads on her this coming weekend.
--------------

In other news, my dad bought a progressive nitrous controller for our truck. Bling!

And a pic of t3h power plant. Notice the large nitrous solenoids on the left of the carb Yummmm...

And then when I got home, my bird decided she wanted to hang out on my face sooo... Thats what she did.

My speakers will be in this week, so I"ll update when I get stuff installed.

Enj0y!
