4x114.3 conversion parts list - brake tech thread
Someone told me that the 4x114.3 Acura CL rear hubs and wheel bearings are a direct replacement. Has anyone successfully replaced their rear wheel bearings?
I am about to get my suspension powder coated and was wondering and came across a 96 spec 4x114.3 suspension for cheap. Right now what is on my car is the 98 USDM 5x114.3 suspension. Got a few questions for you guys hopefully you will have the answers.
Are the spindles the same?
Are the hub and hub bearings the same size?
Are the trailing arms the same?
Are the rotors the same size?
I am going to be breaking down all the parts and getting hubs and hub bearings and rotors anyways so I was just wondering if they were the same so I can try to save myself some down time.

Im about to put on my ITR 96 spec wheels and am thinking about using the 11.1'' 96 prelude rotor and brake assembly. Ill post up pics and prices when im done with it all. and as for the rear rotors FASTBRAKE.COM does sell replacement rotors for 96 spec 4x114.3
sorry to bump this, but it seems like no one has confirmed anything on the rear hub/wheel bearings... i guess i'm going to just have to take the plunge, try this and hope for the best. or has anyone successfully found a direct replacement for the rear wheel bearings?

90-93 accord fits perfectly. 94-97 accord and 97-99 cl should also work

awesome find!
So according to this entire thread if one was wanting to do a serious brake upgrade to his EG civic hatch he would need:
1. GSR front spindles and bearings
2. 92-96 Prelude Hubs, Rotors, Calipers (H22 VTEC Engine)
** Possibly use the Legend calipers to get more stopping power
3. Rear disc conversion from a teg with bearings
4. 90-93 accord rear hubs, rotors and calipers
I think its all correct but someone correct me if I'm wrong!!!!!!
Also What years and model preludes come with rear disc, same with accords
