Today.. I went to install this crappy muffler at a shop (they let me use their lifts since I give them some cash every month to tinker in a bay)

Muffler I had was ****ed.. so I just threw it in the scrap pile...

Found the driver-side axle inner boot has blown up and I am sure will be clicking soon....

Oil Pan Plug is leaking, bought a new one... guess I'll be doing an oil change early...

Adjusted the height adjustment nuts here - Now I don't slam on everything...

CRX on the lift... with this crappy *** cherry bomb... man I need a new muffler...

Fitted the intake and plugged that PCV return... new plugs and wires too...

All in all, about $60 - edit $65 with the coupler.

I'm gonna take new pics when this **** tastic weather subsides... My tool bag has fell over like 10 times and my wrenches are everywhere... so I gotta take the rug out to get all the ****ing tools out..

I'll get back to you about the hood! Unless your in a rush to sell it, hang onto it for me for a week or two... If not, understood.

So this weekends agenda IS -
  • BRAKE PADS. IMMEDIATELY.
  • Goto Honda Heads Garage, checkout Injectors, FPR, and vac hoses.
  • Check rear to see if this has height adjustment nuts on the back.
  • If I make enough in tips, NEW MUFFLER.

Well see what happens..

Today I got -

Brake Pads.
PCValve
Valve Cover Gasket (Leaking above my manifold, not good)

The retard that had this before me, STRIPPED THE OIL PAN PLUG, LIKE A ********... So I had to have this local shop fit it with this ****ing weird plug deal.. it works fine, just a PITA...

Just picked up another 87 CRX Si, Bad motor, no fenders... Has everything else...

Pics following shortly.

Icon6 More Progress...

Today...

Replaced PCValve... Good VS Bad

Removed timing belt cover.. looks good, seems to only have about 30k on it...

Replaced Valve Cover Gasket since it was leaking... Honda Head Mike aka OBRACER

Mike Cracked the stupid timing belt cover, so we decided to just **** it and run it without the cover.. bottom is still covered though...

The plug I got put into the oil pan is still leaking.. like a MOTHER ****ER...

Oil Pan Gasket is bad too... I may just stick some RTV Sealant around the pan just to hold it over until the new car gets here Sunday so I can the pan from that...

Idle still bounces... I am gonna have to put the FITV from the new car onto this one...

Gonna have to flush the oil out like 3 times to get that black burnt **** out...

Gotta do brake pads tomorrow...
