Alrighty guys, since I've pretty much finished up my civic I am trying to sell, I'm not starting to focus back on Jellybean and my GSR.

My GSR just needs work done to it... Jellybean needs some parts.

Remember a while back, I bought some "HID" lights from t3h eBay? These ones...

Well, they were crap I know, I know.. Thats what I get, but I had to try. The low beams were useless so I had to use high beams (which weren't as good as the old halogen low beams) and eventually one high beam went out and BOTH low beams went out!!

Crap.

So, what do I do? I sold some of my ITR skid plates so I had some extra skrizzle, so I went a bought an "HID" KIT.
Probably gonna get burned again, but I've always wanted to test one out.

So, it'll be here prob next week. It's plug and play so we'll find out what happens and how bad it looks. Hope it doesn't blind people too much It has a 2 year warranty and it's a US company so I figured it was somewhat safe
---------------------

In other Jelly news, a couple of months ago I sourced out a new fuel door (Samba green even!) an antennae and an OEM Del Sol wing. I just pm'd both of the guys and if they still have them, I'm buying. Once I get my gas door, I'll start tinkering with my dent again and maybe get the courage to tackle it with some filler. We'll see.

Regardless, the antennae will go in ASAP and I may stick the wing on right away. We'll see.

Anyways, things are startin to move along!!

OH, picking up the 50 series tire today, so when I get it home, I'll swap them over, probably this weekend.

lol. those "hid bulbs" are the biggest rip/lie ever. There run of the mill lights painted blue, thus filtering out some light. haha. And they say that there xenon gas filled. haha. yea right.
The hid kits are 100x better.

Thanks man. She's gonna look good when I'm done. The dented side may not end up perfect.. Matter of fact I know it won't be, but hey... Anything would look better than it does now, right?

I know man, but I had to know! Now I do and I can warn others :] I'm hopin' the HID kit works out decently. I may have to make lil cut-offs for the bulbs don't reflect so much in the headlight. I've read up on it and I'm sure I can do it. We'll see. The kit shipped out so I may have it by Saturday

Well, I took her out and tested the HID (singular). It's weird, the beam is very sharp, doesn't spread out like the halogen bulb. With that said, the HID is very bright and does shine a long way, but I need b oth of them in and to adjust them a lil bit. So far, I'm pleased!

I also just paid for my wing! So hopefully dude will ship it out Monday

Yea some hid bulbs have reflector things built in that help alot with the beam cutoff. What temp did you get. All the h4 hids that always look like there 6000k even if i get 10000k haha.

Well, it's been a lil over 4 months but I have that car running and together and a guy is coming over to test drive it this evening when I get home for work. Paid $600.00, probably have about that much in it (cost waaaaayyy more than I thought it would) and I'm asking $1900, thinking I'll get $1600 or $1700. Won't go any less than $1600 cause it runs perfect, it just has a few lil things that still need to be done.

So, we'll see!

Well guys, things have been pretty quiet for Jellybean, till I bought an OEM wing! It came in Yesterday. Won't have it on for a while, but itll go on there.

I'll prep it in the meantime.

It's not much, but it's somethin!

Don't know if anyone corrected you for a year, but you said an engine needs fuel, spark, and timing to run, you forgot though it also needs compression!

Well if you get all technical and whatnot also need pistons, rings, valves, block.. ect ect.

The fuel/timing/spark thing is for troubleshooting. More than likely, if your car is running fine, you park it and then it won't crank.. all of the rings didn't magically disappear. So the fuel/timing/spark saying is a good thing to keep in mind when troubleshooting.

Now, if you've boosted your car and it stops running or starts running like crap.. Yeah, check the compression. But on an NA engine? Only after you've done everything else.

Sorry guys, no updates Just been driving her around. Been sooo busy.

BUT...Better things lie ahead! I'm starting back working on my Integra. When the body work is done on her, then I start on jellybean!

So, I'll keep in touch and update whenever somethin good happens!

Well, it's been over 1 year since I purchased Jellybean. She's been an amazing little car! By far the best $100.00 I've ever spent!!!!

Havn't done a thing to her lately.. Just back and forth to work and anywhere else I need to go. Jelly gets me there

Well, when I finish my Integra (read, get it put back together and running) I'm going to shift my attention back to Jellybean.

Not the greatest pic, but here's a shot of where I am on my Teg. I'm in the process of shaving/tucking the bay. Well, actually the shave and tuck are done, it's a matter of painting/re-assemble.

BTW, NEVER shave the bay. Ever. Ever ever ever. Did I mention NEVER? Ugh. It'll look nice when I'm done though. Paint will be in this week and I'll spray it this Sunday.

I miss my Integra so much and I miss driving a boosted car!!
