Well, not too much to update. My battery is dying in Jelly, it's getting harder and harder to start after it's sat for a while. I'm going to run a switch to my amp so I can turn it off before I start her, then turn it on once it's running. I may have to get a new battery soon.

I have taken a risk though... I bought another car.

It's a 95 DX. Has rear integra seats in it, a VIS carbon fiber trunk,GSR front brakes and AEM slotted rotors on the rear.. The cars in good shape other then the dent on the passenger side, otherwise it's really straight.

it needs carpet, steering wheel and an ECU, along with a few misc pieces. The engine/tranny is a D15 and runs perfectly, just needs to be installed. Comes with everything to get it running (minus the ECU) and all the AC components.....

$600.00

I'm going to get her running and try to flip it. I know it should get mid to high 30's MPG and if I can get the AC working (for t3h cheap) I can get a pretty decent price for it.

Soooooooooooooo..... We'll see. It's a gamble but I think I can make a few $$ and pay off a couple of bills, which is what I'm trying to do. Props to my loving wife Megan for trusting me enough to let me take our money and try to make more!

I'm picking the car up on Thursday and if all goes well... I"m going to drive it home on Friday. We'll see how that works out! It would be a miracle if I do, but stranger things have happened!

Thank you. I can't stress enough how much I love my lil Del Sol.. except It's leaking at the Targa seals. My poor passenger to work every day has to sit on a garbage bag so he doesn't get wet :S I thought I had fixed it but I guess not!
----------

In more wheelin and dealin news, I'm pretty sure I've got my old mufflers frommy Mustang and my PSP traded for a guitar and amp

I have and play drums already and as dumb as it may sound, actually playing rock band has made me want to get back into playing guitar again. So I figure if I can pick this up without spending any $$$, I'm in good shape!

If I can't, then I'll just sell the mufflers and PSP.

We'll see!

Well, not much to update. I'm just driving Jelly all around, looking like I've been shot up with a 12 gauge, with all the holes in the back and stuff

My battery is seriously dying though.. I had to unhook my amp because the drain from it just TURNING ON was too much for my dead battery

I'll get back to her soon. I have another civic I'm trying to fix and sell so I can have some $$$. THEN I have to get my Integra back together and running.. THEN I can get on Jelly

First post on this forum. been kick around on others for years though. Just read this whole thread. and WOW man you got yourself a nice deal with a nice project. I love projects like this. My buddy just picked up a miata for around 1,000 and it had cancer all over it, we spent all summer replacing metal and patching the whole thing up. still not done. But its always good to know there's hope for cars in that type of condition. I can't wait to see the body done and painted, did you decide on a color yet and i missed that post?

Yeah man I've got a color, white. I love t3h white Sols. I'll stick an OEM wing on there and maybe a wings west lip kit (talkin bigtime future here). But who knows.

I've been kicking around the idea of throwing my Rota C8's on Jelly, just cause, but I've been lazy Well, not lazy, just trying not to add more work.

Well, the battery is completely dead in Jellybean. I have to jump it off everytime I go somewhere. This lil cold snap we've got goin on in Florida put t3h nail in the coffin for it.

Bahhh

But, fortunately for me my dad has t3h hookup on batteries and knowing him, I'll get one for free.

Soooooo, it's all good I guess!

^ Werd, sounds like a bad alternator if the battery wasn't charging. But then again, if you got the hookup on batteries, I see why not to get a free one. GL

Nahh, just an old battery. It came in my Teg when I bought her and who knows how long dude had it in there before I bought it.

I killed it listening to music while I was working on my car It's been a good lil battery though! But, checking the alt may be a good idea.

I'll probably sell it with the Civic I'm building
