Welcome my $100.00 Del Sol to the H-T family!
wow really looking good man. i haven't checked on this thread in a while. really makin some progress. cant wait to see how it turns out

Gotta go back to the drawing board on my fill spacer situation. Dunno really what I need to do.
Alrighty guys.. no work on my Integra this weekend. I decided to stay home and take it easy, which meant I was outside working on Jellybean! I apologize in advance as all the pics are from my cell phone :S
Here's what I accomplished.
So I learned the hard way, that you NEVER use Windex on your gauge cluster. I was cleaning the windows and sprayed the cluster (not knowning what would happen) let the Windex sit on it and when I got around to cleaning it, it looked like this:

Unhappy with that, I decided to do something about it. I broke out my can of Mothers Mag Polish...

I pulled the cluster but realized afterwards I didnt need to. Oh well. A lil Mag polish + a lil elbow grease and I end up with this:

Much better!
I was in the polishing mood so on to more stuff! How about my headlights?

Moar improvements are nice
So when the n00bs who owned the car before repainted the door, they got some overspray on my mirror. Mothers to the rescue!

So far so good on polishing stuff... But how about my wheels?
Before:

After:

Hell to the yes. Much better. I didnt sand these wheels, zero prep at all. Just slapped some polish on em and went away at it with the Powerball. Which is pretty much dead now (got alot of use out of it!)

Cool, so I've polished what I can.. Now what else can I do? Ahh, my horn buttons. One didnt work and the other didn't have a cover. I had a spare DC2 steering wheel so I d-bo'd the buttons from it.

To pull the bottoms is really easy. Just use a flat head screwdriver and pry it out. Then use some piers to pull the wires through so you can reattach them to the new button. Simple as that!

Presto! My horn works properly any more importantly, looks better

Alright, that has been bugging me... but now it's fixed. What now? Ahh, I never installed my passenger side door speaker because the speakers I had were too big and didnt fit in the lil factory speaker holder thing. No fear, I have a drill!

There was already a pioneer speaker in the driver side, but I went ahead and removed it and installed the other speaker in it, so I have Koal speakers in the front, Pioneers in the rear with a Pioneer deck.
Well, I'm workin on stereo stuff now. I had an amp and a sub I could install thats just sitting around not doing anything. I love music.. soooooooo.. I decided to install my sub and amp
I figured I'd pull the passenger seat and install the amp under the seat...
So out you come seat!
I'm rich!

Cool, he's all decayed and stuff. God knows how long he's been there.

NAsty.

After a lil bit of work, hiding wires is fun. Looks like a mess though.

But, does it work?

Yay! I was listening to The Birthday Massacre, BTW. Awesome band. Check out their stuff.
Anyway, I had to clean up so I took a lil spin down to the car wash and vacuumed Jelly out.
Ta daa!

Here's my sub setup BTW, an Old School Kicker Solobaric with a custom Aluminum box I built. It pounds, hard. People laugh at me untill they hear my lil sub, then they don't laugh anymore. This is a before pic. The trunk had never been cleaned, not since I've owned it, so it was nasty.

After! (I vacuumed it out too BTW).

Unfortunately, when I tried to put the seat back in, the pan hit my amp. I always try to think ahead so I like to run more wire than I need to, just in case I have to move it around and it's a good thing I did that. I ended up mounting it here.

So, by now it's been a few hours, I'm kinda tired. I took some Armor All and cleaned her up, packed up my tools and went inside. I say it was a successful day!

I also fixed my tank neck problem. Thanks to good ole Dad
Ended up, the fill neck is heled down by one bracket. The neck itself is just stuck in the tank via a rubber grommet. I took out the bolt and just pulled the neck to the panel and bolted it up.
I've said for a couple weeks now I"m buying a fuel door and have yet to get it done. I really need to now
Moar updates later! Project Jellybean is well undereway!
Enj0y!
**Edit**
Here's some pics of the cluster taken with a better camera. And just so you see the difference...

New pics!

And just one moar pic with the newly semi polished wheels. It's abotu to pour so no sun right now

Do you keep it inside or outside? 93/94 Sol's are notorious for leaky roofs, I'm wondering if upgraded yours or if you still have the original inferior ones. My '93 had some rudimentary "upgrade" job on the seal, but it still leaked
I keep it outside and sometime it leaks a lil, sometimes it doesn't. It's temperamental
Well, my car is closer to being 100%......................

I changed out the burnt tail light bulb, on the drivers side. Hell to the yeah!!!!
I also went out on a limb and bought some 5000k Xenon headlight bulbs. I don't usually buy stuff like this, but I figured why not? It was like $12.00 or something, maybe even $9.00. I had the money in my paypal so whatever
I have a headlight thats out (high beam only) and hey, they may be pretty good. I'll find out in a day or 2 (should be here Friday). I did learn something though when I was doing alil research, trying to find a bulb I liked. You'll notice on the box it was 60/55 watt. Well, thats the OEM wattage. Lots if not MOST of these "HID" bulbs are 100watt or more.. which means they require more power than your car can give em, which means stuff not gonna work right, melted wires and whatnot.
So if you buy aftermarket bulbs and they are Xenon or high intensity or whatever, be sure to make sure the wattage is OEM for your car.

I'm going to do a couple of tests to see how much more (or less) light output they actually do. I also thought about how I have a set of busted Integra lights and how they came with factory projectors
I may play with that later.
And yesterday I orders the bulbs for the fog lights or the "Aux lights" which is an uncommon size, so I've found out. Stupid Honda. Why didn't they just make it a tail light bulb???
Anyway, I'm going to install them. Now what I don't like is they go off with the high beams are only on with the headlights. So I'm going to wire them to the parking lights. I know they will blink with the blinkers but I don't care. If anything, it's that much more safe. I'll do that today.
AAnnnnnnnndddd... If I'm feeling up to it tomorrow and I can work it in... Jellybean is getting dropped.

Wouldn't that be insanely dim? The tail lights are meant just to be seen, whereas the Aux lights are meant to light up stuff. You need a lot more power to do the latter.
They're not the same bulb as the tail light bulb because the taillight is dual filament and the AUX lights are not.

Try using these PIAA bulbs. I have been using these a few months and they are great. I had Raybrigs before and they only lasted a month or two. 1156 is the bulb size you need. These PIAA's come in a package of 2.

P.S. I am using, and have been using for quite some time now, 100W/90W Nokya Cosmic White H4 headlight bulbs. My wiring is fine, and the headlights work great.

Well, got alot of work done on Jellybean this week! Lets get started.

Dunno what kind of springs. Got em from a buddy. A lil lower I say

Once stretched out, not so much.

The results???

Heck yes! I loves it. Better pictures later today.
So my headlight bulbs came in and soo.. I wanted to install them. Well, that proved easier said than done!

????

What the heck? I couldnt even GET to the screws to get the bulb out. Too cramped. I'm sure there's another way, but I figured the easiest thing for me was to remove the bumper.

Yay!
That made it much easier to swap the bulbs. Well, since I had the front off and stuff easier to get to, I decided to go ahead and re-wire the lil fog lights to come on with the parking lights and stay on with the high beams.
Here's a lil video of what to do.

Also, while I was there, I removed the air silencer. I did something extra though.. I cut part of the intake pipe and kinda made a home-made OEM cold air intake
Can't really see it cause it's dark, but you get the idea.

And for a random pic... Whats wrong with this picture?

The easy way to install headlight bulbs on the driver side is to slide the power steering reservoir up and off of its bracket. The lower hose will pivot on the lower port molded into the reservoir so that you can move the reservoir around.
The way you wired the AUX lights to come on works well and I commend you for that but you really did way more work than you had to.
This was all you had to do:
