Can anyone verify the authenticity and legitimacy of the engine in this sale? The OP is being evasive about providing the VIN and his thread s are going to get locked.

Seems fishy to me as well. There is NO reason NOT to post the VIN number up for all of us to see... I don't understand why else he'd hold that info from us.

 

Yes, he seemed to view my request as optional. His signature claims a PY ITR.

 

Sounds a little too good to be true... A complete USDM Type R swap, plus a full Endyn head with JUN IIIs, AIR intake manifold, and all the rest for $4000 OBO? Either its a scam or the deal of the year.

 

I locked both threads until proof is provided.

 

I think it is a pretty big leap just assuming everyone is guilty because they don't provide a VIN in the public forum.

The guy said he would be willing to provide vin to prospective buyer if desired. I've sold lots of things where I would edit the VIN because I didn't want some other scammer to have a clean vin to do god knows what

 

I asked for it via PM. Posting a watermarked picture is ideal. He claimed it was a B18C5, so they all have the VIN on the transmission.

 

I'm not sure but i think this guy sent me pics of his car with the air intake... If it is the same guy then i'll say he's legit. Gimme a few days to find the pics.

 

I have been sent a picture of the VIN plate on the transmission. The engine is a B18C5 with an ITR transmission. Block stamp 8300776.

Im Need money I already got Scammed by this Guy that I sold my MF10s .. He has not send me any Money ..cory william aka JjuuN R .. the money that He was going to send me was going to get me out from DEPT and Tickets that i Owe..

Plus he owes me my panasports that i bought from him like a year ago..


So yeah its a Real Good deal .. I Know this whole Swap its worth more.. But hey its a reasonable Offer

 

i thik is a very good deal, i have my stock B18c5 with original tranny going for 3800.

 

i kno the guy that is selling it he is very legit, i would buy the motor if i had the cash good luck

 

I do like the policy of shoot first ask questions later... too much stolen R's. It's good to know that the seller is legit too. Glad that worked out.
