Default Racing Hart Tuner restoration

I got these rims from a guy on a local forum about a month ago and spent countless hours sanding, stripping the paint, primering, sanding, painting, etc...

before

after

in the last 3 pics, the rims are wet. They aren't done yet...I need to re-sand them down again, re-primer, re-sand, re-paint and clear coat.

The paint didn't come out perfectly so i'm just posting these pics before they get sanded down again.

?

Edit: Can you guys see the pics??? I think imagestation is acting gay again

Thanks guys for the comments

black with polished lip??? IMO, that wouldn't really go good with a teal civic.
I was also thinking of painting them all white or do some outrageous color

Did you sand off the clear on the polished lip?

white = hotness

Well I used paint stripper allover the rims, even on the lip to see how much clear coat would peel off.
So then when the rims were sanded, I took 300grit and sanded the lip, then took 600/1000 and sanded it down even further.

Honestly, if somebody has cur brash and it's not to bad, just sand the rim and you can get rid of the curb rash without having a shop do it.

Well I had to burn of the old stickers but I'm getting a friend to re-make them exactly as they were.

Racing Hart stickers will only be 1 per wheel as before there were 2 on the lip per wheel

Thanks for the good feedback
